Our local Doctor visits the
centre weekly. We have an appointment book for parents to complete detailing
the illness or concern. Our Doctor is able to conduct medical checks and
provide prescriptions for any enrolled child needing to see a Doctor. This
is a free service and very convenient for busy parents. Just ask for more
information on this service if you require it.
Ear Nurse Visits
An Auckland
Area Health Nurse visits us regularly for your children's ear checks. They
look for early detection of glue ear and potential hearing problems.
We have a B & W portrait service provided by positive negative photography.
In addtion we have a Family photographer that comes in each year taking child and sibling colour photos.
Both are free sittings.
Parent Evening
At least twice
a year parents are invited to attend an informative parent evening where
they have the opportunity to talk to their child's caregivers, management
and the owners. It is a great opportunity to meet with other parents and
see your child playing.
Child care subsidy subsidied by WINZ makes quality childcare affordable for families
with dependent children. For
more information contact your local WINZ office. We also now offer a convenient
way to have your application and questions addressed, via our WINZ representative
to attend to your application at the centre at the same time you enrol your
child. Just let us know a suitable time so we can organize this on your
behalf. We have the relevant forms and information at the centre available
as well.
Plunket
Plunket is New Zealand's leading provider
of well child and family health services in New Zealand. Plunket programmes
aim to support families with young children by providing appropriate clinical
and support programmes, educational activities and so on. They are the
only non-profit organisation in New Zealand to provide these facilities
to New Zealand families. Plunket visits our centre throughout the year
providing child Wellness checks.
